CSIC Beihai Heavy Industry - Qingdao 3 Drydocks up to 360m x 78m Qingdao Beihai Shipbuilding Heavy Industry Co Ltd was established in 1898. as one of the backbone enterprises under China Shipbuilding Industry Corporation (CSIC), the Shipyard can undertake newbuilding of vessels, offshore engineering, shiprepair and conversion, GRP boatbuilding and marine machinery manufacture. The production system of the shiprepair branch of the shipyard has been certified by CSQA in accordance with ISO9001:2000 and is to be certified in accordance with OSHMS and ISO14000. The shipyard is located at Long 120deg 15'30" E, Lat 36deg North., adjacent to Qingdao harbour, near to Japan, Korea and Shanghai. All major classification societies have established their offices in Qingdao. International airlines from Qingdao to Seoul,Busan,Tokyo,Osaka,Fukuoka,Singapore,HongKong,Paris,Frankfurt,Los Angeles etc are available.
