CSSC Chengxi

CSSC Chengxi - Jiangyin 4 Drydocks up to 257m x 42m. Chengxi Shipyard , located in Jiangyin City at the lower reach of the Yangtze River, is one of the Yangtze River, is one of the largest shiprepair and newbuilding enterprises under CSSC. It has a good advantage in road and waterway transportation as it is ashort distance to port cities like Shanghai, Nantong and Zhangjiagang. Chengxi Shipyard covers an area of 1,000,000 square meters and there are over 2,500 employees. The river front stretches over 2,000 meters. The yard has a 1,180 meter long outfitting quay,the front water depth being 8-14 meters and the main navigation channel 30 meters . On this quay there are 8 sets of 25 ton and 30 ton shore cranes and 2 sets of 100 ton and 60 ton floating cranes. The yard has 4 floating docks, 100,000 dwt, 80,000 dwt, 30,000 dwt and 15,000 dwt respectively, plus one slipway of 50,000 dwt equipped with 2 sets of 120 ton and 2 sets of 40 ton cranes and 1 set of 100 ton gantry crane. The yard has been accredited and certified by LRQA, CSQA and RRQA with ISO9001:2000 Quality Management Certificate. The yard is in the process of accreditation of CSQA for the ISO14001 and OHSAS18001.
